Frequently asked questions
I provide individual therapy for adult women with a focus on high-functioning, overwhelmed moms who feel like they're carrying too much, even if life looks "fine" on the outside.
Sessions are conversational, grounded, and focused on the patterns that keep you stuck—like overfunctioning, people-pleasing, and burnout. I bring honesty, care, and a little humor when it fits, so the work feels real, human, and still deeply supportive.
It can look like you’re the one holding everything together—schedules, emotions, expectations, responsibilities—while there’s barely any space left for you. If that hits a little too close to home, you’re not alone. That kind of constant carrying is a lot.
If you're someone who looks like you're "doing fine" but feels internally exhausted, constantly responsible for others, and rarely supported yourself - you're likely within my area of focus.
A good fit usually feels like a sense of relief or recognition when you read this!
No.
While I specialize in supporting overwhelmed moms, I also work with women and female-identified clients more broadly. Many of the patterns I help with - overwhelm, overfunctioning, and carrying too much - show up in different ways, whether you're a parent or not.
Your weekly appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, so the full session fee is charged whether you attend or not, including absences due to vacations, travel, or other personal commitments.
You may reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice and I will do my best to accommodate you.
No. Many of the people I work with are managing daily life, but feel exhausted, disconnected, or like they're constantly pushing through. Therapy can start when things are hard - not just when they fall apart.
Yes. I offer secure telehealth sessions for clients located in Washington state.
