MEET MOLLY
I have met and worked with people from all walks of life and I believe that color, race, sexuality, gender, political affilitation, religious beliefs and socioeconomic status create beautiful differences between us and I am honored that I get to explore these topics with my clients. It's crucial for clients to recognize that I am not an expert in their lives; instead, I serve as a supportive guide.
My role is to facilitate personal growth, self-confidence and empowerment in your personal journey.
Personal growth requires acknowledging one's role in challenging patterns. Being in therapy will not benefit someone who is unwilling to self reflect and no therapist can force a person to see something they are unwilling to examine. Mastering the art of owning your actions without resorting to self-punishment, shame, or devaluing your inherent worth is among the toughest lessons to grasp.
Together, we can explore your thoughts and actions while appreciating your inherent goodness and uniqueness.
I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress, relationships & attachment, womxn's issues, and trauma. I am passionate about mental health and my objective is to provide you with a safe and comfortable space to help make this experience enlightening and useful.
My approach to therapy is person-centered and cognitive-behavioral. I utilize EFT (tapping) to treat symptoms and love teaching people this fun new approach! I am also enjoy practicing mindfulness techniques with my clients.
I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Therapy from Capella University, I am a member of the Washington Mental Health Counselors Association (WMHCA), and in my spare time I coach Little League, practice yoga, read tarot, chase unruly goats from my garden & create a podcast with my family about classic rock 'n roll.
( Wandering Path Therapy is not accessible by wheelchair. Telehealth or outdoor sessions are available.)
